WORLD August 9, 1999 VNN4461 Comment on this story Reply To Radha Prana Report BY BHAKTIN NIRMALA INDIA, Aug 9 (VNN) — PAMHO. AGTSP. All glories to assembled vaisnavas. I am Bhaktin Nirmala and I am writing in reply to Radha Pran prabhu's report (henceforward RPN) in which he quoted my name. I am hoping that this letter may help to clear my name which he had associated as being cooperating with the ritvik mayavadis. I am a congregation devotee serving at the ISKCON Penang centre for the past three years and had been a devotee for six years. Presently I am working in one of the more famous legal firms in Penang and Malaysia. The said conversation took place not on 12th of June (Saturday) as he claimed but on 11th of June (Friday). HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaj, from whom I have taken shelter, left on the same evening to continue his preaching tour. During the conversation Guru Maharaj, together with HH Bhakti Vighna Vinasaya Narasimha Swami and HH Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami, held a ista gosthi session with us to clear any doubt we may have regarding the ritvik theory or the poison issue. Guru Maharaj was explaining how the poison issue do not make any sense at all. That is, how in first place they, (Srila Prabhupada's disciples) can poison HDG when they all so loved HDG. It is most unthinkable. He was explaining how he is traveling all over the world, taking so much inconvenience, to preach, simple because he wants to please Srila Prabhupada. HH Jayapataka Maharaj was also explaining that it is illogical. Why should they poison Srila Prabhupada when HDG had already mandated them to initiate disciples after HDG leaving the body ? Thus Guru Maharaj was explaining like this. Never, never, never in his conversation did he mentioned Gaudiya Math poisoning Srila Prabhupada. RPN's creating stories like this is a great offense not only to Guru Maharaj but also to the whole Saraswata family of the Gaudiya tradition as it is aimed at creating discord and enmity between the Saraswata family. Srila Jiva Goswami quoting Markendeya Purana said that one should not hear from any person who belittles a devotee of the Lord. What to speak of one who is blaspheming or trying to create enmity between spiritual family. Certainly RPN do not deserve a space in the exalted web pages of VNN. I sincerely hope that the excellent editor of VNN may please note this. RPN simply used my name to further his own cause. I was peacefully practicing my Sadhana and service until RPN did like this. I am most disturbed. RPN is irresponsible. I appeal to the editor to please publish my reply so that my name may be cleared and the facts put straight. Thank you. Hare Krishna.
