(Arrival in Janakpuri)
Srila Narayana Maharaja's last Indian preaching engagement of the year was held at his temple in Janakpuri, Delhi. The temple is still under construction. Four hundred people, including two busloads of devotees from Vrndavana and Mathura, attended the program. Srila Maharaja instructed the devotees and guests present to not waste their life in sense gratification and to engage in devotional service.
After his lecture there was a play about Srimati Radharani in maan (transcendental anger). Following the play there was a procession through Janakpuri with kirtana, and after that all in attendence were served delicious prasadam.
Two days later Srila Maharaja left for Hawaii to translate and write commentaries on the Gosvami's literatures, and he will be holding a harikatha festival in Hilo for one week beginning February 4, 2005.
