WORLD  Ganga Puja BY TUSTI MOHAN KRSNA DAS  MAYAPUR, INDIA, Mar 16 (VNN) — Dear DevoteesDandavat Pranams All Glories to Srila Prabhupada, All Glories to Mother Ganga In Mayapur today 16-3-03 we celebrated the auspicious occasion of Sri Ganga Puja. As it is tradition, hundreds of devotees in general (with senior Prabhupada's disciples) go to the Ganges in a special procession to bath HDG Srila Prabhupada and to worship Mother Ganga Devi. As well it is a very auspicious occasion that we bring the ashes of devotees and ashes of relatives of devotees to perform the traditional rituals and Mantra chanting for their immersing into the Holy River, the rituals are called Tarpana and Pinda and are performed by expert Brahmanas. In this occasion there were ashes for almost 20 persons.
