From the Desk of the Hare Krishna Youth: Berkeley, CA 03/15/03 Please Accept Our Most Humble Obeisances. All Glories to His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. Two years ago in June of 2001, the Hare Krishna Youth of the Bay Area (HKY) were promised a grant in the amount of $3000 by the "Children of Krishna Inc." (CKI) - an ISKCON organization whose purpose is to help the children of the Hare Krishna movement in various ways. CKI printed their pledge to us in a newsletter back in 2001. We understand that they have done a tremendous service to the Children of this movement by granting for education, spiritual projects, kuli ran businesses and therapy, but we have not received anything from them. CKI have stated that they have the grant for us. They have been saying this for 2 years now. We have called them many times, but they never return our calls. The Hare Krishna Youth are trying hard further Srila Prabhupada?s movement and we are in need of this grant to take further steps in Srila Prabhupada's mission. We are asking everyone to please email the CKI at children@krishna.com and also try to call them. We are having no luck getting in touch with them. Their number is (386) 462-1081 in Florida.
