Prabhupada Reunion Of Fallen Disciples & Followers In Australia
BY CHITTAHARI DAS
AUSTRALIA, Nov 25 (VNN) Lord Nityananda's Special Mercy Festival - at Sydney Australia 25th & 26th November.
This is a festival for all the fallen followers of Srila Prabhupada regardless of their present devotional status.
No judgements will be allowed so feel free to participate no matter how fallen you have become. All the plays and entertainment will be provided by devotees who are in similar states of conciousness to yourselves so you will be in "safe" company.
I have just returned from Srila Prabhupada's Disappearance Day festival in Vrindavan India which was M.C'd by the fallen brothers BRAHMANANDA and GARGAMUNI who tend to present themselves as a modern day reappearance of Canura and Mustika from "World Championship Wrestling" so I know how enjoyable these get-togethers can be. This is "no pretention association" at it's best.
There is no dress code for this festival. Come in whatever you feel comfortable.Turn up at any time you like and leave when you feel you've had enough.I,d strongly suggest you bring some sort of cushion as you could be sitting down for prolonged periods and we all know how that feels at 'our age'.
The HARI NAMA SANKIRTAN on Saturday morning promises to be spectacular. We have secured a special Busking licence from the Sydney City Council to set up with Exotic Instruments in the Pitt Street Mall in downtown Sydney. The sitdown bhajans will be led by our now famous from Bondi Beach band "THE REPEAT OFFENDERS" with special guest Madhudvisa Ex-swami.
The dramas which will be performed in a huge Marquee erected next to the North Sydney Temple by "THE GREATLY FALLEN PLAYERS" including old stars such as Yasomatinandan,Mahotsah,Bhakta and yours truly.
There will be about five dramas of varying length with the accent on humour.Between the dramas there will be further entertainment by the 'Repeat Offenders Bhajan Band' with breaks for chats with your long separated godbrothers and godsisters.
The PRASADAM FEASTS will be sumptuous and will be cooked and served by currently serving QUALIFIED BRAHMINS and of course the presiding Deities are Their Divine Lordships SRI SRI RADHA GOPINATHA who we all remember were personally requested by Srila Prabhupada to train up their own qualified brahmins in Australia as he only had melechas available to serve them.
The next day is the 18th monthly BEAUTIFULL BHAJANS at BONDI BEACH at 2pm so we are expecting many of you to finally join us for this world famous event.I hope to see many of you I have missed the association of over these past 15 years or so especially those who are living incognito in the Sydney region or have stayed away due to any possible reason. Please just come to this 'one festival' just to reconnect with all your dearest old friends.Remember NO JUDGEMENTS will be allowed.
Please send this invitation to any old Prabhupada Family members you know of as soon as you read it.The official invitation follows with the time table attached.

Dear Prabhu's
Sydney Yatra warmly invites you to participate in a special gathering of Srila Prabhupada's transcendental family, to be held at the Sydney Temple on Saturday 25th November.
After the success of last year's "Blast from the Past" kirtan night, we felt inspired to expand the program to an all-day event.
His Grace Madhu-dvisa prabhu will preside over this intimate festival event. His Holiness Indradyumna Swami will be present as a special guest.
We look forward to your association...
Yours sincerely, Atmarama das.
