Because it concerns the spread and growing prestige of Vedic culture through the ART of Planetary Gemology or the Sri Navaratna (9 gems) system of "birth stones." Lords Sri KRISHNA & Sri BALADEVA spent two whole days learning about this subject from Srila Sandipani Muni. And Krishna was so pleased with the knowledge He received from Sandipani that the Lord actually brought back the acharya's child from the realm of the long gone. Please read the following letter which was recently sent to over 100 persons involved with the Graha anukul ratnavisheshajna parishad or Planetary Gemologists Association including leading members in the Vedic world. Here's the brief: "We am pleased to inform you all that we have returned from an Official visit to the Kingdom of Nepal, where we submitted a petition requesting His Royal Highness Crown Prince Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah to accept Royal Patron ship of the Planetary Gemologists Association. Accepted along with the petition were letters of recommendation from: ---Prof. Dr. Mangal Raj Joshi, Ph. D., Jyotishacharya Ganit Shastri, ROYAL ASTROLOGER KINGDOM OF NEPAL, Chairman The National Calendar Council His Majesties Government Kingdom of Nepal; ---H.E. Nepalese Ambassador Janak Bahadur Singh (a PGA Honorary Patron); ---Sri Bel Prasad Shrestha, Mayor of Dhulikhel, Nepal, attesting to the fact that in 1977 I had financed the Hari Siddhi Primary School, plus a Youth Center Library, and a Statue of King Mahendra the Great. The Statue was inaugurated by His Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah, and the school was opened with an orthodox 7 days yajna, "Srimad Bhagavat Saptah," attended by all the citizens of Dhulikhel, Nepal and leading Saints & Sadhus of the Kingdom. Our humble request was accepted by His Royal Highness for favorable consideration. We are also greatly honored by Prof. Dr. Mangal Raj Joshi, Ph.
