All glories to Srila Prabhupada! KRISHNA.ORG, dedicated the Founder-Acarya of the Hare Krishna movement, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was born yesterday. We expect to officially open in full functionality within one month. However we will be posting at least one article every day even though the site is completely "Under Construction." The basic concept is to develop an on-line knowledge-base of information on Srila Prabhupada's Hare Krishna movement. The emphasis is on preaching and articles that have an eternal, spiritual value. Srila Prabhupada will surely give us many articles to publish and we also want to encourage the disciples and aspiring disciples of Srila Prabhupada to contribute their own preaching articles. Srila Prabhupada always encouraged his disciples to write articles so we want to provide a place where Srila Prabhupada's disciples can publish such articles. This web site is Srila Prabhupada's site and it will publish the work of Srila Prabhupada and his disciples and aspiring disciples. We have no animosity toward any of the other groups of Vaisnavas or the devotees in ISKCON who have chosen spiritual masters other than Srila Prabhupada, however, our attraction is to Srila Prabhupada and his disciples. So that is the purpose of this web site. To glorify Srila Prabhupada and to preach Krishna consciousness as Srila Prabhupada has given it to us to the world. Although we will have to touch on the political issues, we are not very interested in such temporary mundane arguments and will not use very much space on http://www.Krishna.org for such discussion. We want to talk about Krishna and repeat the philosophy Srila Prabhupada has given to us. That is our duty. It's not that we only read Srila Prabhupada's books and chant Hare Krishna, it's also our duty to distribute the knowledge. So we invite all disciples and aspiring disciples of His Divine Grace A.C. I've just finished typing in today's article. It's such a perfect article from a 1977 Back To Godhead magazine entitled "Who Is the Real Guru." It is completely amazing how the concept of guru has changed in ISKCON so radically since 1977. This article brings the real teachings of Srila Prabhupada on who is a guru very clearly back into focus.
