INTRODUCTION

This report is an analysis of claims of murder made by Don Rousse as published in the book, "When a man is poisoned it is said like that" and also published on his website. In this book, he misrepresents himself as using official Reverse Speech analysis techniques, and also misrepresents himself as having Reverse Speech certifications and approval for this publication. These claims are false.

“Rousse's report is bogus, poorly documented and should not be taken seriously. I would suggest a court injunction to remove the book from publication. ”

I first met Don Rouse in late 1996 when he enrolled for a Reverse Speech training class in San Diego. From our very first meeting, I began to have problems with him. This initially came in the form of a reluctance to pay course fees and a mentality that demanded he be given everything for free. My second experience with him was when I offered him a position as a marketing manager for Reverse Speech. This was a disaster and he was terminated after three days for lack of a desire to work and a severe inability to accept instructions from others. I think my final piece of indignation was when I had an arson house fire at my home and Don Rouse came to "help clean up". I was horrified to see him looting remaining items that had survived the house fire. Items such as toilet paper and food in the fridge.

He was also having difficulties with his ongoing Reverse Speech training. He had a large propensity to exaggerate and "hear" reversals that were not there. He additionally was unable to follow the basic research guidelines for documentation and interpretation of his findings. This, combined, with his documentations of "imagined" speech reversals, led him to some wild and fanciful conclusions that bore no resemblance in fact. To compound matters even further, this man was totally unteachable and one could give him instructions over and over again, and they would simply not be heard or followed upon. This led to his already appalling Reverse Speech skills to become even worse as he refused to listen to advice from his peers and correct his rapidly developing bad documentation procedures.

I eventually refused to certify him, as his final examination was below standard, full of fantasies and projections and using totally invalid documentation procedures. Despite this, he kept on making constant phone calls to my office wanting to know when he would get his final certifications. This became a constant annoyance to my staff who told him the same things over and over again. Finally the office refused to take or return his calls. It can become very frustrating telling the same man the same story over and over again and he still does not get it.

Now we come to 1999. He was in the middle of a project analyzing certain leaders in the Hare Krishna movement, making claims of murder, and he wanted our opinion of his reversals. He made a CD and sent them into the office along with his findings. His CD was listened to by myself, my Vice President and another Reverse Speech Analyst. Our opinion of his reversals were identical. Most of them did NOT exist, and those that did, were erroneous and interpreted incorrectly with no regards to established Reverse Speech guidelines. We told him of our findings and suggested he abandon this project and take further Reverse Speech training. He later contacted Senior Reverse Speech Practitioner, Jack Johnston, for assistance in his project. Jack's experience with him was exactly the same as mine and my office staff. He refused to follow steps that Jack suggested and was finally advised by him as well to not proceed with the project.

The next thing we heard was that he had actually written a book, based on his so-called "reversal analysis", that made these wild and irrational claims of murder. We told him in no uncertain terms that there is no way we can endorse this book. We reminded him that he had no legal right to use the trademarked name "Reverse Speech", and forbad him from making any reference to Reverse Speech or to misrepresent his training and certification status. Yet, in true form, he refused to listen and began to insist over and over again that we endorse this book he had written. Finally, out of sheer frustration we had a final email communication that leaves no room for doubt. These emails are attached to this report (complete with spelling errors).

>From these emails, there should have been no doubt in Don Rousse's mind at all that he had absolutely NO permission to present his work as Reverse Speech, and he had NO permission whatsoever to use my name and website as reference points. But this has been very typical of my dealings with him. He does not listen, he is incompetent and he is hopelessly inadequate as a Reverse Speech analyst, a certification he never received in the first place as he failed his final examinations.

As one final test, when I became aware of Don Rousse's website and his claims of endorsements from me, which were specifically denied, I asked three more Reverse Speech analysts to analyze his claims and his reversals. All three of them returned with the same conclusion. These reversals do not exist! They do not meet accepted Reverse Speech analysis guidelines and his claims are not only bogus, but they are malicious and made DESPITE strong advice to the contrary from the Reverse Speech organization This firm, totally disavows any actions of Don Rousse. We do NOT endorse him, and in fact we strongly oppose him.

His findings of murder are bogus, projected out of a wild imagination.

He is not a certified analyst, he failed his final examinations and he does not know what he is doing.

On this note, let me make one final point. The study of Reverse Speech is a long and arduous process. It is not easy, the propensity to imagination is strong as is the tendency for emotional draining in the process. It takes many years of training to become skilled in this process. The technology of Reverse Speech itself is accurate. It has been proven time and time again. But, like many disciplines, its accuracy is only as valid as the person who is analyzing. Reverse Speech has many trained and experienced analysts who are every competent in the field. Don Rousse is NOT one of them. In fact, he is a danger to Reverse Speech, he cannot be trusted and his results are inaccurate and malicious.

The phone number I have for you in Oregon, 503-253-7572 is not in service any more. What is your contact information? I am going to release my RS study on the poisoning soon and I need your correct contact info to put in there (the web site has the Colorado info still).

The web site that I will release my work on gets 20-30,000 hits a day, and I just sent an introduction to RS which will be posted soon. I have referenced your site, your work, etc. so you should see a bulge in the hits you get soon. In light of this article I wanted to get some of your tapes to resell to interested parties. How to order?

Of course I also wanted to know if you would give an endorsement for my work, and if we can do a radio show on the subject. Please get back to me ASAP, reply by email is fine. I hope all is well.

You asked me a while back if you have offended me in anyway - if you even have to ask that question you have serious problems! I cannot and I will NOT endorse your work - you did not complete the final exams - you cheated your way into the course, you have ahrrasssed my staff for more than two years tryinmg to cheat your way into fional certification - you ripped me off when you worked for me - you looted items from my burnt out house - yes, you have offended me! Do me one final favor and stiop doing reverse speech and stop representing yourself as representing me.

David, I had asked the question because of your lack of communication. I am not a mind reader. The last time we spoke (several months ago) you were amicable enough and it sounded as though you were going to listen to my CD as you had called to ask for information about how to access the wave files. You said nothing then about any problems in our past (nor had you ever) and I suspected none. I just couldn't understand why I wasn't hearing from you.

Actually, I am completely surprised at every one of your statements, shocked actually. I don't know why you say these things, but one item at least that I must challenge is that I looted your house?! I came out there to support you at what I knew would have been a very difficult and stressful situation for you. And to do what I could to help you I BOUGHT from you some computer speakers for which I wrote you a check for $80, even though I couldn't afford it at the time. In fact I mentioned this to Nelda who thought that it was a generous gesture. Your secretary told me that speakers sold for $80 and I told her that I would rewrite the check for whatever it should be. However after checking with you she told me that you said that the $80 was fine and to disregard the tax.

That is the TOTAL truth. Was there something else that you think I took from your house? I helped Nelda transport tapes from your archive for safekeeping at her house, which we did. They remainedthere and as far as I know they were returned to you by her. I took NOTHING else out of your house at that time, AND I HAVE NEVER STOLEN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE, FROM YOU OR ANYONE ELSE!!

I am very sorry to hear you respond like this. I was hoping that you would see that the work I had done on this was a very complete study, and be happy to see that someone had used RS as you have always said it could be used, find the TRUTH. The work stands on its own and I submit that it is a good study.

Further, I do NOT present myself as representing you at all and never have. I reference your work and speak of it highly and suggest to everyone I speak to about RS go to your website and study what you have there. I think that you are a genius and you deserve great recognition for your pioneering research. I have called your offices twice to inquire about grades on my final assignment, which I never received, and made inquiries about certification based on the fact that you had introduced a certification of RS Investigator based on finishing the course. I was told that it was not available to me since you had not offered that when I took the course. SO I DROPPED THE SUBJECT AND NEVER BROUGHT IT UP TO YOU OR YOUR STAFF AGAIN. How do you figure that is harassment?

And how can you say that I didn't complete the final exams? I did everything that was asked, and I still have the work with the same dates on it. As far as getting into the course, I cheated my way? Just how do you say that? We made an agreement that part of my fee would be paid in kind with a new computer. How is that cheating? And if you thought it was why didn't you ever say anything about that when the course was going on?

I am very sorry to hear you see our history in this way. I wish you well.

as with all things - there is no point in discussing this - i have talked about this with you many times and on each occasion you have forgotten all he other times we have talked about it and you have made and my staff extremely frustrated with you because of it - it came to a point where everytime you would call people would groan in agony cos you simply do not listen and process things and there comes a time when you simply cannot say the same thing over and over and over again to someone who simply refuses to listen - you have very selective memory and do not see things the way they really are - I have been very patient with you, and others, and this patience and forgiveness has caused me to lose big time in the long run - after three house fires, two assassination attempts and public smear campaign from hell, the time has come to stop being so damn forgiving -I cannot do it anymore wiht people, including yourself - sorry for my bluntness but its time call a spade a spade - same thing happened when you lived with Nelda - you drove her around the bend with the same stuff - time you had a good long hard look at yourself don - david

Reversal One: Save Me - non existent. Does not meet research check points. Sounds more like SaGe Mit

Reversal Two: We feed on death - non existent. Does not meet check point points. "Feed" sounds more like "Feel" and the word death is very imprecise.

Reversal Three: The worst was just you kill - this is a valid reversal.

All check point criteria are met. However, it does not refer to poisoning. All reversals are complementarity, in other words they must be considered in context with the forward dialogue which appears to be a discussion of a spiritual journey and the death of the ego.

Reversal Four: We shouldn't be killed - non existent. Pure projection into gibberish

Reversal Five - Aye Govinda / Lord, I'll follow - the first is genuine and it appears to be a statement of loyalty. The second reversal is imprecise and does not meet reversal check points.

Reversal Six: I kill you now - non existent, sounds similar but does not meet check points

Reversal Seven: I kill the Prophet - this is a genuine reversal reversal. It meets all the check points. But to call it a confession to murder is irresponsible at best. For a start is the word "prophet"or "profit" . Also "kill" is metaphor for emotional death. Without the corresponding forward dialogue to examine, it is impossible to determine the meaning of this reversal.

Reversal Eight: God does know we did it - incorrect - Does not meet check points. "God" can also be heard as "Guard" and "did it" can also be heard as "didn't"

Reversal Nine: Fail upon arsenic - borderline reversal.reversal. I personally would not document it but it does meet some check points.

Although Fail can also be heard as "Fell" and arsenic is a very common Reverse Speech metaphor that refers to negative and destructive emotions, NOT poison.

Reversal Ten: Sin off us if this shit hid - invalid reversal. Not even close. Pure projection into gibberish.

Reversal Eleven - cannot check this reversal as the file corrupted on his site.

Reversal Twelve: I been really corrupt - invalid reversal - pure projection into gibberish.

Reversal Thirteen: Heavy metal, that milk. - This reversals exists and meets all the check requirements. However, once again with no forward dialogue to check back with, it is extremely difficult to place a meaning on it Also, "milk" is a common reverse speech metaphor for spiritual food and nourishment and does not mean "milk" as in the substance we drink. This reversal could simply mean "It is a tough road to follow the spiritual path"

Reversal Fourteen: He create a sick pa - valid reversal but no forward dialogue to place context.

Reversal Fifteen: They're made your dying problem - valid reversal but once again no forward dialogue. It is impossible to determine its meaning.

Reversal Sixteen: Hail of arsenic - invalid reversal. Does not meet check point requirements.

Summary

Of the 17 reversals I was able to check, 11 of them were invalid and one was imprecise, leaving a total of 5 reversals that could be documented.

This is appalling!! At Reverse Speech, we require at least an 80% correct rate to certify an analyst. Don Rousse does not even meet the minimum requirements. . Additionally, the reversals that are correct are probably metaphoric statements that refer to emotional and spiritual states and not physical acts.

Conclusion

Rousse's report is bogus, poorly documented and should not be taken seriously. I would suggest a court injunction to remove the book from publication. You would certainly have my support in this as he is using proprietary materials that require permission from myself to use. Not only was the permission not obtained but, IT WAS SPECIFICALLY DENIED.
