WORLD February 23, 1999 VNN3141 FVC Course On Ayurveda And Jyotish BY MAHABUDDHI DASA USA, Feb 23 (VNN) — Florida Vedic College is offering its accredited courses in Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology starting March and May. Individuals wishing to take courses in Ayurveda can now do so. The Certificate of Ayurveda Training course is an opportunity to learn Ayurvedic techniques and massage in a "hands on basis". The Masters and Doctorate degree programs are given with the permission of the State of Florida and authorized via our accrediting agencies. The program consists of two (2) week intensives where the student learns Ayurveda in the classroom and then is demonstrated the techniques by the Ayurveda professors. The (CAT) Certificate of Ayurveda Training program has no prerequisites and is a great opportunity for devotees. The Masters and Doctorate program in Dhanvantari Ayurveda is one of the few offered in the USA. Chitrakara prabhu (Dr. Rhyner) is the department head for the Ayurvedic program. Vedic Astrology (bachelor's) degree course has now been launched with textbooks and correspondence via email with Shyamsundara dasa as the instructor.
