WORLD December 8, 1998 VNN2636 New BBT Policy On Selling Books BY JAYADVAITA SWAMI
USA, Dec 8 (VNN) Access for All The new BBT policy on selling books at wholesale prices
Though the news is already getting around, I wish to formally announce anew policy for sales of BBT books. Henceforward, all BBT divisions willsell their books at wholesale prices to any devotee or group, regardlessof affiliation, philosophy, or social or managerial outlook. Whetheryou're an ISKCON temple, a non-ISKCON temple, an independent devotee, orwhatever, you're welcome to buy BBT books in any quantity. And if youbuy in wholesale quantities, you're welcome to pay the wholesale price.
Whatever differences we may have, let us be united in reading anddistributing Srila Prabhupada's books. Distributing Srila Prabhupada'sbooks will do only good, both for the devotees who distribute them andfor the conditioned souls who receive them. Therefore, we should all behappy to see Srila Prabhupada's books distributed profusely, in thegreatest numbers possible and by every possible devotee.
Our deep apologies, also, to devotees who have been unable to purchaseand distribute BBT books because of our restrictive policies of the past.We recognize that these policies have caused many devotees much needlessdistress.
We hope that the tightness and tensions of the past will be relieved byfriendship and openness among Krsna's devotees and generosity to theconditioned souls.
Hare Krsna.
Your servant, Jayadvaita Swami Trustee, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust Chairman, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International
