Prime Minister Of India Receives Moscow Devotees

MOSCOW, RUSSIA, Nov 22 (VNN) The Prime Minister of India received the leader of the Russian Hare Krishna's.

€fter completion of the Russian-Indian Summit, in the course of which a number of important for strategical partnership of the both countries agreements had been signed, the Honorable Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee met with the President of the Center of the Societies for Krishna consciousness in Russia, His Holiness Bhakti Vijnana Goswami (V.M. Tuneev).
According to the press-centre of the Russian ISKCON, during the conversation A.B. Vajpayee expressed gratitude to the Russian Society for Krshna consciousness for its valuable contribution in cultural and spiritual cooperation of the both countries.
On the same day, the press-secretary of the Prime Minister, Mr. S.Kulkarni visited the Hare Krishna temple at Khoroshovskoye shosse and conveyed to all the assembled audience the greeting of the Prime Minister. He especially emphasied "the great charitable activities which the members of the Society for Krsina consciousness perform in India." As Mr. Kulkarni said, "When people come to Krsna's temple with open mind, they cannot help but feel internal peace and serenity."
HH B.V.Goswami, in his turn, thanked the Government of India for its kind support and attention to the activities of ISKCON in Russia and presented the guest a souvenier with the picture of the altar of the functioning Moscow temple.
