WORLD   Pure Bhakti Live Webcast BY IGVS  USA, Feb 19 (VNN) — The International Gaudiya Vedanta Society is pleased to announce the launch of its 24 hour/7 day a week internet radio service for subscribers, PURE BHAKTI WEBCAST featuring both the LIVE and pre-recorded harikatha from Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Goswami Maharaja, along with kirtans, bhajans, and classes from other exalted pure Vaisnavas as Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Srila Pramode Puri Goswami Maharaja, Srila BR Sridhar Deva Goswami Maharaja, and Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja.Within the limits of current technology, we have designed the broadcast to be received even on older computers with 28.8 Kbps modems and poor phone lines. A one day free trial is available for all potential subscribers, especially for those who wish to test reception and quality. Groups of devotees may pool their finances together for a subscription if necessary, but only one computer will be able to be logged on at a time under one name and password. This will make a good excuse to come together for sanga. Transmission of pre-recorded classes, kirtans and bhajans is already going on and the first LIVE broadcast is scheduled for Wednesday evening, Frankfurt, Germany time from 5 to 8 PM. For the convenience of those in different time zones or with other commitments during that time, the entire program will be re-broadcast continuously until the next evening program. In the near future, special LIVE and pre-recorded classes sponsored by the accredited American college, FLORIDA VEDIC COLLEGE (www.fvc.edu), will also be available for subscribers to take for their own enlightenment and college credits toward Divinity degrees.
