WORLD  The Vedic Theatre Company BY THE VEDIC THEATRE COMPANY USA, Dec 18 (VNN) — Hare Krsna! We are proud to announce that the "MAHABHARATA" is being produced in conjunction with the Gorilla Theatre Company of Kansas City, Missouri in the Fall of 2003. This is the first time to our knowledge that a supposedly "non-devotional" theatre company is becoming involved with a devotional play. Originally adapted and performed in 1987 by Sankirtana das (Andy Fraenkel) and the late Locamangala, it is being revived by Bhakta Wallace Dorian with a bold new vision. The play is quite unique in that it originally had two actors playing eight roles. Our future goal is to take it off-Broadway or even Broadway in New York City.
