WORLD  Kesi Ghat Echoed Radhe-Radhe BY GOKUL INDIA, Nov 17 (VNN) — Vrindavan, 14th Nov, with the backdrop of the sun setting in the Yamuna. Hundreds of Devotees squatted on the stairs with Gurudeva Srila Bhakti Ballabha Tirtha Goswami Maharaj and sanyasis for a group photograph session followed by an enlightening discourse by Srila Gurudev on the lila/pastimes at Kesi Ghat. The real daemon Kesi is inside us, the false prestige that I am the best devotee. Lord Sri Krishna kills this Kesi of false prestige in His devotees, if any. "Bandhu Sange Yadi Tava Rang Parihaas....," this kirtan of Thakur Bhakti Vinod was the climax of today's Kesi Ghat darshan! than the party continued the parikrama and visited Sri Radha Gokulanand, Sri Radha Raman, Sri Radha Gopinath and Sri Gopeshwar Shiva temples, following Srila Gurudev, sanyasis and senior vaishnavas. The last stoppage was at the Vrinda Kunj, where Pujyapad Srimat Paramdvaiti Maharaja welcomed all with garlands and smiles. Srila Gurudev performed kirtan and gave a lecture at Vrinda Kunj. During the night lecture at Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Srila Gurudev spoke on the Gajendra Moksha lila. Gajendra was in the grip of a crocodile. Gajendra fought for 1000 years. Gajendra was exhausted. In miserable condition, one forgets everything, but Gajendra suddenly started submitting prayer to the Supreme Lord. Gajendra represents our forgetfulness of Supreme Lord. The Crocodile represents maya. We have to realize that we are in tight grip of maya. We have to whole heartedly pray for the grace of Supreme Lord. Gajendra prayed to Supreme Lord, " Lord you can give all kind of benedictions, Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. I only want to be freed from the grip of this Crocodile". Gajendra was a devotee in previous life, Gajendra wanted to be free from material bondage. Gajendra internally wanted the Prema Bhakti. Meanwhile the preparations are on the full throttle for the inauguration function of the 3 year long birth centennial celebrations of His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Dayita Madhav Goswami Maharaj, the founder of Sree Chaitnya Gaudiya Math. Under the benign guidance of the Governing body of the Sree Chaitana Gaudiya Math and the President-Acharya Tridandi Swami Srimad Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Goswami Maharaj, the Birth-Centennial of the Founder-Acharya Srila Bhakti Dayita Madhav Goswami Maharaj (1904-2004) will be celebrated from his 98th advent day, Utthan-Ekadshi, 16th Nov. 2002, to his 101st advent day, Utthan Ekadashi, 12th Nov. 2005.
