Illumination Television's Dedicated Service

BY NITYANANDA RAM DAS

USA, Sep 19 (VNN) — Illumination Television, the producer of the A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami "Memories" video series has launched an extensive web site at www.HareKrishna.tv. Over the past decade Siddhanta Das, the owner of Illumination Television has produced 35 Memories videos featuring over 100 disciples of Srila Prabhupada providing memories of their association with their guru. The web site features the largest collection of senior A.C. Bhaktivedanta disciple photographs ever assembled along with their quotes in pop up windows from the Memory video.

In addition to streaming video taken from the Memories videos, the site has dozens of other Illumination Television productions from the Bhaktivedanta Video Library Series such as the newly released George Harrison Tribute. All videos on the site can be purchased online through the easy to use ecommerce solution that Illumination Television employs. This fall, Siddhanta Das will publish two hardback books containing the word for word transcription of all of the devotee interviews that went into making the Memories Series.

This remarkable video and text compilation of personal memories of Srila Prabhupada by his disciples is an enormous contribution towards the historical record of the life and times of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. Siddhanta Das supports himself through his other business, which is his commercial video post-production facility, and he has won numerous awards within his industry including editing a film special for PBS, documenting the account of Chinese-Americans involved in WWII which was nominated for an Emmy in 2001.
