WORLD  Rectification BY SRI GOPINATH GAUDIYA MATH INDIA, Jul 7 (VNN) — Dear Vaishnavas worldwide: Please accept our most humble obeisances. All glories to Sri Guru, Sri Saraswata Gaudiya Vaishnavas and Sri Gauranga. We, as the authorities of the Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math, are humbly submitting this letter to all Vaishnava communities worldwide. Smt. Devamayi Devi Dasi has recently compiled, written and printed a biography of His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Maharaja (VNN story 7351). We regret to inform you that this is not a publication of our Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math. Before its publication, this book was checked over by many Vaishnavas, including disciples of Srila Prabhupada Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur and several Godbrothers within our Math. Their conclusion is that it is not an authorized biography of our beloved Gurudeva. This conclusion was relayed to Smt. Devamayi Devi Dasi several times before publication. Disregarding the conclusion of so many Vaishnavas, she took it upon herself to print and distribute this book. Our great mistake was in helping Srimati Devamayi Devi write the book of the holy biography of our beloved Srila Gurudeva. Now we are facing the reality that our Society has been cheated by her and her associates through her improper behaviour with us. As the authorities of the Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Math, we are making the humble request that all Vaishnavas desiring to read the true glories of our Guru Maharaja, to please purchase the books we will be publishing in the near future through our own printing press, Bhaktisiddhanta Vani, established by Srila Gurudeva. Please forgive our forward approach in this regard but it is our duty as disciples to protect the integrity of our Gurudeva and his mission. We appreciate you kind understanding on this very sensitive subject matter.
