New Website On Tirupati Venkateswara

USA, Jun 30 (VNN) — The Bhaktivedanta Ashram has launched a new website providing information on the ancient Tirupati Venkateswara temple in South India.

Lord Venkateswara, popularly known as Balaji, is the presiding deity of the Tirumala Hills, in Andhra Pradesh, India. He is one of the manifestations of Lord Vishnu, who incarnated in a previous Kali-yuga at the request of sage Narada. The sage requested Lord Vishnu to settle in Tirumala, to shower his eternal grace on mankind, who were very much depressed and unable to follow the rigorous sadhanas for self realization.

Devotees can read the puranic history of Lord Venkateswara, as well as view many pictures of the Venkateswara temple and other temples in the holy city of Tirupati/Tirumala. Audio files of the famous Venkatesa Suprabhatam can be downloaded in MP3 format.
