It's hard to express how satisfying it is to finally be able to write you this. For many years I dreamed of being able to share the wealth of Vaisnava music with the world. I wanted to make high-quality recordings of all the favorites of the devotees. Recordings that would equal the best commercial quality, that could be played on radio or given to a friend without having to apologize for tape noise, background sounds, out-of-tune instruments or uneven volume levels. When I was traveling with Visnujana Swami doing lots of kirtan every day, I fell in love with the exquisite poetry of the great Vaisnava saints. I also became very fond of Visnujana's original melodies, composed on the request of Srila Prabhupada. I always thought he should record these songs very nicely, but somehow or other Visnujana completed only a few studio sessions before his disappearance. Many of his beautiful melodies remained unrecorded. I always wanted to make these special songs and melodies available to the world. For so long I carried this vision in my heart, and now by the grace of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krsna it is coming to pass. In the past few months I have been able to produce several CDs of the songs of the Vaisnava acaryas set to melodies by Visnujana Swami. These are original arrangements using a wide variety of musical styles and instrumentation.
