WORLD  Ex-Sannyasi Attacks Young Vaisnavi In Vrindavan BY TUNGVIDYA DASI VRINDAVAN, INDIA, Dec 12 (VNN) — During the late morning hours of December 8th I had set up a book table on the PUBLIC road in front of Iskcon's MVT estate and Guesthouse in Vrindavan. People were pleasantly coming and going, viewing the books on my table, like Jaiva Dharma and the new Braja Mandala Parikrama book. Suddenly, big Brahmananda das (of ex-sannyas fame) comes out and asked me why I was there. When I replied he started an assault on me by throwing my books, my table and even me! I was sitting in a chair when he upturned it with his arms causing my head to hit the concrete wall. I have bruises on my leg and an injured finger. While he assaulted me like this he screamed: "This is my house" and "this is my guru bhakti", forcing me to leave. I immediately went to the police station and filed an F.I.R., an official complaint. The next day the Inspector of Police went to MVT to interrogate Brahmananda. I also went to the local office of the Uttar Pradesh Newspaper "Dainik Jagaran" and reported my story which they printed the very next morning. Now I am in the process of contacting the national Indian newspapers and as well as all human rights, women's rights and religious rights organizations in this country presenting a full expose.
