Week Long Festival In Alachua Florida

 USA, Feb 29 (VNN) — Week Long Festival at New Raman Reti in Alachua, Florida in Celebration of The Auspicious Appearance Day of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu - Gaura Purnima
Evening programs starting on:
Sunday, February 29th - Inter-national Sankirtana Stories from Europe & Israel.
Monday - March 1 -Siksastika Seminar given by Nagaraja dasa.
Tuesday - March 2 -International Sankirtana Stories from U.S.A., Russia, and Siberia.
Wednesday - March 3 -Youth Bhajans.
Thursday - March 4 - International Sankirtana Stories from South and Central America.
Friday - March 5: Parade in Gainesville Florida
Padayatra Procession & Harinama at 4:00 PM
We are having a 3 mile parade in downtown Gainesville with the Padayatra America Party. At the end of the parade there will be a festival at Plaza Center at the Gainesville Court House. Come and participate in the parade. The Padayatra Cart came to Alachua after a 6 month journey starting in May 2003 from Harrisburg, PA.
Plaza Center Festival Downtown Gainesville at 6:00 PM
Stage performance at Plaza Center includes: Bhajans, Bharat-Natyam Dances, Dramas, vendors and more, followed by a Feast.
Gaura Purnima Day
Saturday - March 6
Includes: Abhiseka of Gaura- Nitai Deities, Agnihotra & Bhajans, Children's Dance & Drama by Preschool & NRR School, followed by Dance & Drama "The Glories of Sri Panca-tattva". In the evening there will be a Holi Festival & Bonfire as well as Feast Prasadam. There will be a Children's Carnival Tent 1 PM - 4 PM including face painting, puppet shows, balloons, etc.
