This is what some of the previous participants had to say about the course:

Kartamasa dasa: "I greatly enjoyed the course. Before coming, I had every mental excuse available not to go, but I'm so glad I came. It exceeded my expectations in all ways. There was a good mix of lecture, brain stimulating activities, and group interactions..Not only did you present knowledge on specific skills, but you also gave knowledge that improves and empowers our overall state of consciousness. I would definitely recommend this course to others, and would be very interested in any follow-up courses. It was struct ured and presented better than any of my college courses."

Bhakti Marga Swami: "Dhira Govinda Prabhu's practical two-day seminar on "Life Skills" was both educational and enjoyable for Canadian ISKCON Leaders as well as future leaders who attended. They all requested a sequel."

Smita Krsna Maharaja: "Thank you for this course. For me it was inspiring and interesting how you put it within a Krsna Conscious framework. I have a view that your course..should be an integrated part within the training and teaching of our leaders, preachers, managers, etc."

Yamuna Devi Dasi: "I wish to again THANK YOU for your Mayapur seminar entitled Vaisnava Minister Couseling Course. Attending it was a highlight of my Indian pilgrimage; Vishakha and I found ourselves repeatedly discussing its merits."

Ananda Rupa dasi: "Immediately I was able to correct the blocks I was putting in the way of my communicating with others. I feel confident now that I practice, my skills will be so much better. You are blessed by Lord Krsna and guru to impart this knowledge so effectively."

Anuttama dasa: "Very valuable. The emphasis on skills and experiential learning was very good. Your presentation was clear. Speed was appropriate. Just enough material. Your touch of dry humor broke up the sessions alsoÉ"

Ashwhin Joshu M.D.: "I was very inspired by his sincere desired to help. He was very well organized, knowledgeable, ethical and professional. Group participation depends on the group itself and its conductor. Dhira Govinda dasa was excellent in this regard. Group sessions were very interactive, beneficial, good learning experience and enhanced one's counseling skills.. I have attended several counseling seminars over the years during my medical career. I found this course excellent because Dhira Govinda dasa taught the course with devotion, personal and interesting rather than 'college seminars'."

Diane Consbruck, Homemaker: "Thank you for offering this valuable course. Your thorough and personal approach in presenting it, and your expertise as a teacher, added greatly to my learning experience. You constantly demonstrated the empathetic mood and the proper application of the skills, both in role-playing and dealing with us personally. Had your personal example not been so good, the course would not have the same impact on me..I really liked the clear, concise way you presented everyone's presence and feelings and treated everyone equally, with no special treatment, belittlement or neglect. You encouraged enthusiastic participation but showed sensitivity to those who felt unable to do something at the timeÉThe loving mood of our group and our growing experiences together made me wish it would never end. Keep teaching the course."

Sandra Elsey, English Teacher: "I thought that this course was very valuable. I learned skills I will apply in my personal and professional life. It was very helpful the way the class was set up-when we learned a skill we immediately applied it so as 'to use and not lose.' I was amazed at how quickly we were able to penetrate and get to the real issues..On a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 10+"
