Chintamani Gardens Needs New Owners

 HAWAII, Jan 21 (VNN) — Alas, Krsna has His own plansÉ The Buddhi Yoga Society, a non profit church, was formed last year to facilitate a Buddhi Yoga retreat/preaching center and a small suburban grhasta community with a bed and breakfast appeal on the Big Island of Hawaii. We purchased almost twelve acres of scenic rolling farm/garden land complete with several waterfalls, swimming holes, ocean views, deep soil, good bamboo, wild orchids, wild ginger, Koa trees, bananas, etc., in order to partner up with a few like minded devotees and realize a dream. We named it Chintamani Gardens.
Well, we have come to realize that Krsna has other intentions for this land, and for our project. Lord Krsna, the Supreme Ishvara, through a lack of our own resources, has clearly given us direction that our project needs to be of a smaller nature and that we need to find a smaller more manageable parcel elsewhere, perhaps on the island of Kauai, where there is very little preaching or Sanga at this time.
Our project, for Chintamani Gardens, was to take place close to the city of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. However, due to our lack of resources, and my personal deficiency in sincerity, Lord Krsna sent more qualified candidates for this window of preaching opportunity in the city of Hilo. Our wonderful God brother and God sister, Gopa Vrindapal Dasa and Mula Prakriti d.d. have actually developed something even better than a rural retreat near Hilo. They have developed an urban temple right in town, next to downtown Hilo, and only a mile or so from the University, on one acre of land with two guest houses and a temple, already built. Although I have not been there since it was completed, I hear the turnout is magnificent and the devotees are ecstatic.
Mula Prakriti and Gopa Vrindapal have the correct model and formula that we need to follow for the efforts of the Buddhi Yoga Society: A smaller parcel of land, closer to the center of a populated city or town, with already built accommodations for devotees to come and take part. Given our resources, we were setting our sights too high for Chintamani Gardens on twelve acres. We humbly digress and will now follow in the footsteps of those who have been there. Thank you Gopa and Mula. You are, and have always been, my inspiration, even though I may not show it at times.
Now, Chintamani Gardens is up for sale. We have put it on the market and it is currently listed in the Hawaii Real Estate media. This land is soooh beautiful and magical with its several falls and cascades on both sides, and its panoramic views of ocean and mountains, and its wild flowers covering the land, we are all distraught that it cannot be offered to the Lord as the paradise that it is. We are hoping that this parcel gets rescued by a devotee family or group of bhaktas to offer to Lord Krsna in service.

The living space is 4400 sq.feet, on 1.5 acres landscaped. A creek runs through the property and it lies secluded in the forest.
