Srila Narayan Maharaja Coming To Big Island

BY BHAKTIVEDANTA PRESENTATIONS

HILO, HAWAII, Oct 30 (VNN) — First Big Island Devotional Festival

January 10-17th, 2003 - Hilo, Hawaii

All vaisnavas worldwide are cordially invited to attend and participate in a rejuvenating spiritual retreat on the Big Island of Hawaii. We will have the holy association of our honored guest, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayan Maharaja, from January 10th to the 17th, 2003. This program will include inspiring Hari Katha, sadhu sanga, ecstatic kirtans, dramas, first-class prasadam and enlivening darshans, all with a beautiful tropical background.

The Big Island devotees have diligently researched all options for accommodations in the Hilo area and found the best arrangement was to reserve the entire Wild Ginger Inn (one block from the new temple and Srila Gurudev's residence and walking distance from the Pavilion Festival site). Most of the rooms have 2 queen beds & bathroom, with 2 rooms that are suites with a view, and 3 dorm rooms that fit 6 retreaters each. The rooms will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

The Discounted Rates at Wild Ginger Inn are $100-per-person for bed & breakfast for 7 days. Children 3 to 12-years-old are half price and children under 3 years are free.

The Festival Fees are $10 per day/ $70 per week, which includes 3 meals a day.

The EARLY SUPER-SAVER SPECIAL for lodging & festival fees will be only $150 total, if received by November 10th, 2002.

Contact us about your room arrangements ASAP!

All discounted reservations for the Wild Ginger Inn must be fully paid and received by us by check or money order by November 30th, 2002. Otherwise, after that date you will have to make your arrangements with the hotel. We would greatly appreciate your festival fees also at this time.

Kindly email your reservations or questions to or call 808-935-7247.

Send fees to Bhaktivedanta Presentations, P.O. Box 10924, Hilo, Hawaii (HI), 96720.

Checks should be made out to Bhaktivedanta Presentations.

The Big Island is an inter-island flight from Honolulu (Oahu) which is approximately $65 each way with a coupon.

If you make arrangements to fly directly into Kona on the Big Island, you will have to arrange your own transportation to Hilo, which is about a two hour drive. One travel agent has told us that some of the rental car companies do not have a drop-off fee from Kona to Hilo, so it may make sense to get the cheaper flight, if available, for Kona from the West Coast. But there is an approx. $50 drop-off fee from Hilo to Kona. So figure this in with your travel arrangements.
