Update BY JAHNAVI DASI USA, Jul 19 (VNN) — "Our Mission: Children of Krishna, Inc. supports, furthers, and protects the educational, economic, emotional, and spiritual advancement of the children of the Hare Krishna Movement, through our grant programs, information network, and associated resources." Motto: "Helping our Youth Help Themselves" Children of Krishna Inc. would like to sincerely thank all of the kind devotees for their generous contributions towards the goals of Children of Krishna and for the support of our youth last year. Children of Krishna offers a variety of support for our youth through our grant program and other associated resources. Since our inception in 1996, CKI has been expanding as a grass roots organization gaining support from the leaders, youth, and mainstream devotees in every community. We have been helping our youth to help themselves and are continuing to make a difference in the lives of many around the world. Last year alone we granted over $50,000 to youth who needed our help to succeed! American BBT, Children of Krishna also gave over 150 gurukula graduates more than $11,000 worth of books, CD's, incense, tapes, and posters!
