Decision Imminent Regarding Turley Lawsuit Against ISKCON

DALLAS, TX, May 5 (VNN) — According to Ms. Lori Watson (pamr@wturley.com, 800-692-4025), the Windle Turley Law Offices lawyer who has been assigned to the investigation into the possibility of bringing a class-action child abuse lawsuit against ISKCON, she is scheduled to meet with her boss, Windle Turley (turley@wturley.com) at 4 PM tomorrow, May 5th, to decide whether to go ahead with the case.

Lori has been studying the structure of ISKCON, the value of ISKCON assets, especially in the USA, and hearing some of the heart wrenching testimony of the victims of some of the abuses at the hands of members of ISKCON, including some of the leaders. The big question is, "Can it be proven that one or more ISKCON leaders knew about some of the abuse, and tried to keep it a secret?".

When told about the 1 million dollar pledge that the ISKCON GBC is planning to give to victims, she sarcastically said, "$1 million per victim?"

This decision will have a major impact on the future of ISKCON. Follow VNN for the latest developments in this story.
