BY GOKUL INDIA, Jul 1 (VNN) — Srila Guru Maharaj, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Goswami Maharaj, on being told by a devotee in Seattle, W.A., that ISKCON is facing a $400 m. case, remarked that our Most Revered Shiksha Guru His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Vedanta Swami Maharaj has worked very hard to establish this institution (ISKCON), so it is our duty to work to save it. He further added, you should try to save it. That is His vision. ISKCON is greater than the perpetuators of all abuses, due to which this case is hurled by the Gurukula victims. Here in India, for last one week, the whole media is crying foul over this case. The image of NOT ONLY ISKCON in particular, BUT Dharma or religion in general, is tarnished. It also reflects bad on all of us. We feel bad. People mistrust everybody connected with religion. It hits at the roots of the faith. The forces working against Sanatan Dharma get a boost. The sins of few are taken as that of all. No money, or words can heal the hearts of the poor victims of lust of those cheaters among the Gurukula teachers. But is it fair to hit at the Institution which is a light house for the sincere seekers? Who will gain if the Institution goes? This world got a treasure of transcendental words printed in all BBT books distributed by devotees of ISKCON. We all owe something to this institution established by the Shaktyaveshavtar of this time, Srila Bhakti Vedanta Swami Maharaj. ISKCON is not just the GBCs. Neither anyone else representing or misrepresenting it. ISKCON is the manifestation of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's Causeless Mercy. Our only hope are the words of Thakur Bhakti Vinode that this Vinode-Dhara (Parampara) or the preceptorial channel will never be broken! Jai Narasinghadev!
