Naveen Krishna Resigns From GBC
BY BHAGAVAT DAS
USA, Feb 29 (VNN) Dear Prabhus: Please accept my humble obeisance's! All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Today I received an e-mail from Naveen Krishna Prabhu which is announcing his resignation from the GBC. His reasons for doing so are connected to the poison investigation. He does not however give any details but he indicates that he may give additional information in the future. I felt this was important news and I am asking VNN to post it for everyone to read. The letter in its entirety appears below.
Your Servant Bhagavat Das
Please accept my humble obeisance's. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
As many of you are aware, I have been on a leave of absence for 2 years now from my GBC duties because of great concerns about the possible "poisoning" of Srila Prabhupada before his physical departure. Now that some of the investigation has been done, and Balavanta Prabhu is soon to release his first report, I must submit my resignation. I will perhaps offer additional information and reasons in the future. In the meantime, I hope that the members of the GBC body and other Iskcon devotees will carefully study Balavanta Prabhu's report, as well as avail themselves of all pertinent audio and written materials so that they are fully informed about this very serious matter. I further pray that all sincere followers of His Divine Grace will be guided by Lord Caitanya in the further investigation of this matter.
Your servant,
Naveen Krishna das.
PS. I request the appropriate persons to forward this letter to all Iskcon devotees since many devotees(sannyasis, temple presidents, managers and devotees in general) that I used to offer educational and training programs to, have called or written me in the last two years asking when I will resume my services to them as GBC minister of management and finance.
