Therefore\u00a0<i>mano-dharma<\/i>\u00a0is speculation.\u00a0<i>\u0100tma-dharma<\/i>\u00a0is based on\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti-dharma<\/i>, love, and descends by the hearing process,\u00a0<i>\u015brauta-paramparya<\/i>.\u00a0<i>Pr\u012bti-dharma<\/i>\u00a0is\u00a0<i>dharma<\/i>\u00a0based on love where K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a is\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti-vi<\/i><i>\u1e63<\/i><i>aya<\/i>, the object of love, and all\u00a0<i>bhaktas<\/i>, devotees are\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti-\u0101\u015braya<\/i>. This is\u00a0<i>vi<\/i><i>\u1e63<\/i><i>aya<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>\u0101\u015braya<\/i>. There is harmony between them; there is no question of disharmony. If you establish yourself in this\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti-dharma<\/i>, then there will be no disharmony at all, only harmony. Some say that there is some\u00a0<i>apr\u012bti<\/i>\u00a0in<i>priti-dharma<\/i>, but one should understand that there is some\u00a0<i>apr\u012bti<\/i>\u00a0in those who say this. That is why they say that, but there is no question of\u00a0<i>apr\u012bti<\/i>, it is only pure\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti<\/i>, love. That is the reason why there is disharmony between\u00a0<i>vaisnava-samprad\u0101yas<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Why will there be disharmony? If you establish pure\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti-dharma<\/i>, then there is no question of disharmony. Only because there is some\u00a0<i>apr\u012bti<\/i>\u00a0in you if you have not established yourself in this\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti-dharma<\/i>\u00a0process, then there is disharmony, but there should not be any disharmony at all. If you really get the causeless mercy of Guru and Gauranga, then you can understand this, otherwise no one can understand it. Therefore there is so much quarrelling nowadays in this Kali-yuga. Kali means hypocrisy,\u00a0<i>viv\u0101da<\/i>\u00a0(quarrelling), and\u00a0<i>dambha<\/i>\u00a0(pride). There is this\u00a0<i>dambha<\/i>, pride of\u00a0<i>aham ba<\/i><i>\u1e0d<\/i><i>a he<\/i>, \u201cI am great!\u201d\u00a0 Therefore there is quarrelling, two parties are quarrelling and two groups are quarrelling. This is going on because it is Kali-yuga. This\u00a0<i>dambha<\/i>, pride, is the measuring rod. One, who is proud, tries to establish his own philosophy by suppressing others. So there is quarrelling, but this is not there in\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti-dharma<\/i>, in Mah\u0101prabhu\u2019s process.<\/p>\n<address>\u00a0<i>t<\/i><i>\u1e5b\u1e47<\/i><i>\u0101d api sun\u012bcena<\/i><\/address>\n<address><i>taror iva sahi<\/i><i>\u1e63\u1e47<\/i><i>un\u0101<\/i><\/address>\n<address><i>am\u0101nin\u0101 m\u0101nadena<\/i><\/address>\n<address><i>k\u012brtan\u012bya<\/i><i>\u1e25<\/i><i>\u00a0sad\u0101 hari<\/i><i>\u1e25<\/i><\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<p>\u00a0\u201dOne should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige and ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly.\u201d (<i>\u015aik<\/i><i>\u1e63<\/i><i>\u0101<\/i><i>\u1e63\u1e6d<\/i><i>aka<\/i>\u00a03)<\/p>\n<p>One who is\u00a0<i>t<\/i><i>\u1e5b\u1e47<\/i><i>\u0101d api sun\u012bcena<\/i>\u00a0thinks, \u201cI am the lowest of the low\u201d and is much humbler than a blade of grass lying on the street. Where is the question of pride?<\/p>\n<p><i>Uttama ha\u00f1\u0101 \u0101pan\u0101ke m\u0101ne t<\/i><i>\u1e5b\u1e47<\/i><i>\u0101dhama<\/i>, (<i>Cc Antya\u00a0<\/i>20.22) he is\u00a0<i>uttama<\/i>, the topmost person, the crest jewel of the\u00a0<i>paramaha<\/i><i>\u1e41<\/i><i>sas<\/i>, but he thinks \u201cI am the lowest of the low, I am a worm in the stool.\u201d Then there is no question of pride in Mah\u0101prabhu\u2019s\u00a0<i>pr\u012bti-dharma<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><i>Taror iva sahi<\/i><i>\u1e63\u1e47<\/i><i>un\u0101<\/i>, as tolerant as a tree. Where is the question of intolerance? Why will there be quarreling, hypocrisy or cheating? Why?
