This 565 page book by Dr. Sahadeva dasa is a bible on the subject of modern food and nutrition.<\/p>\n

We have taken food for granted. It\u2019s a mistake for which we are paying dearly. Food doesn\u2019t grow on supermarket shelves.<\/p>\n

According to United Nations, a disease tsunami is sweeping the world. Humanity is dying out. This is the result of our deep ignorance about our food.<\/p>\n

It can make a big difference in health to be conscious of simple things like salt. For thousands of years people have eaten salt but so much is being done to this simple food ingredient by the modern food industry.<\/p>\n

Free flowing salts are often silica coated which trash the kidney and other organs. Aluminium is used as an anti-caking agent which is a known carcinogen. Normal sea salt contains 93 essential minerals and trace elements where as refined salt contains none and is pure sodium. Its usage has created a hypertension and stroke epidemic.<\/p>\n

Growing food, extracting oils etc. have become increasingly violent. Many companies are using flavours made out of human fetuses. Its time we as devotees become more conscious of what we are offering to Krishna and
