The image appears to be that of *Laudonomphalus regularis from the Crinoids species that are marine animals that make up the class Crinoidea of the echinoderms*. In fact the same non cropped image can be found on Wikipedia, a sample that was found in France, not Russia.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Those aren&#8217;t gears. We find those same fossils in Indiana. They were a form of sea life, but the name escapes me right now.
