“In \u015ar\u012bmad-Bh\u0101gavatam (SB 11.19.21) K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a says, mad-bhakta-p\u016bj\u0101bhyadhik\u0101: ‘It is better to render service to My devotee.’ Thus, according to the Gau\u1e0d\u012bya-Vai\u1e63\u1e47ava philosophy of Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu, it is better to be a servant of the servant of God. One should not try to serve K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a directly. A pure Vai\u1e63\u1e47ava serves a servant of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a and identifies himself as a servant of a servant of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. This is pleasing to Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. \u015ar\u012bla Narottama d\u0101sa \u1e6ch\u0101kura confirms this philosophy: ch\u0101\u1e0diy\u0101 vai\u1e63\u1e47ava-sev\u0101 nist\u0101ra peyeche keb\u0101. Unless one serves a liberated Vai\u1e63\u1e47ava, he cannot attain liberation by directly serving K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. He must serve the servant of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a.”<\/p>\n

“\u015ar\u012bla Narottama d\u0101sa \u1e6ch\u0101kura, who is famous for his poetic composition known as Pr\u0101rthan\u0101, has lamented in one of his prayers, ‘When will Lord Nity\u0101nanda be merciful upon me so that I will forget all material desires?’ \u015ar\u012bla Narottama d\u0101sa \u1e6ch\u0101kura confirms that unless one is freed from material desires to satisfy the needs of the body and senses, one cannot understand the transcendental abode of Lord K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a, V\u1e5bnd\u0101vana. He also confirms that one cannot understand the loving affairs of R\u0101dh\u0101 and K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a without going through the direction of the six Gosv\u0101m\u012bs. In another verse Narottama d\u0101sa \u1e6ch\u0101kura has stated that without the causeless mercy of Nity\u0101nanda Prabhu, one cannot enter into the affairs of R\u0101dh\u0101 and K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a.”<\/p>\n
