USA February 16, 1999 VNN3069 Re: Public Sale Of Sacred Land BY YOGINDRA VANADANA DAS ADHIKARI USA, Feb 16 (VNN) — This (VNN story# 2990) is another case of devotees indulging in rumors or deliberately excersizing their free speech propensity to be more involved in temple management or possibly even to hurt or slander the management. The subject was never a topic at a board meeting. The writer is probably the same circle of devotees that has slandered Touchstone, New Talavan's cow program, board of directors and executive officer. All they had to do was to ask one of at least ten devotees involved in management if this was true, but they purposefully decided to post their letter as a good tactic to cut off some controversial sale on the part of management. However it is not an issue, never was and hopefully won't ever need to be one.
