USA January 17, 1999 VNN2872 See Related VNN Stories Disciples and Temples Pledged BY MRIGENDRA DAS LOS ANGELES, USA, Jan 17 (VNN) — L.A. IRG Meeting Update Today over 100 devotees attended the Los Angeles ISKCON Reform Group Meeting and heard from Madhu Pandit Prabhu, President of ISKCON Bangalore; Adridharana Prabhu President of ISKCON Calcutta; Jitarati Prabhu, Krishnakant from London and others. Except for 4 people, everyone voted that they agree to the conclusion of the Final Order, namely that Srila Prabhupada ordered that there be no change in initiations after his departure when compared to what he had established for initiations in his physical presence. He had established a system whereby he was the diksha guru with priests assisting him. A few challenges from the audience were answered by Krishnakant to the satisfaction of the questioners and the audience. Madhu Pandit officially pledged that the Bangalore Temple is now following The Final Order. Jayadvaj Swami introduced Rukmini Pati from Brazil who announced that his disciples and future disciples are and will be Srila Prabhupada's disciples. Navayogendra Swami spoke with enthusiasm and pledged that 7 ISKCON temples that he works with and all of his disciples will be following The Final Order.
