USA December 24, 1998 VNN2735 See Related VNN Stories Announcing Los Angeles IRG Meeting BY IRG LOS ANGELES, USA, Dec 24 (VNN) — All devotees are invited to attend an ISKCON Reform Group (IRG) meeting to be held in Los Angeles, on Saturday, January 16, 1999 at the Masonic Hall on Venice Boulevard near Watseka Avenue. The meeting will be for discussing and instituting the officiating-acharya system as ordered by Srila Prabhupada. This meeting has been organized in response to the numerous requests for a West Coast meeting after the successful Alachua meeting early in October and favorable developments in India and around the World. The meeting will begin at 9:30 am sharp and the agenda then will have Krishnakant presenting The Final Order in the morning and him answering questions in the afternoon. Also featured will be devotees from the around the world including Temple Presidents from the strong Indian movement. The official IRG meeting will be held until Saturday evening at 5:00 pm and then some devotees will be hosting discussions on various related topics on Saturday evening and Sunday. Lunch prasadam will be served. There will be a $5 fee to attend the meeting.
