BV Vana Maharaja Softens Our Hearts In SF Bay Area

USA, Jan 7 (VNN) — Recently we the members and friends of the Gaudiya Vedanta Samiti in San Francisco Bay Area were blessed by Param Pujyapada Bhativedanta Narayan Maharaj (Srila Gurudev, as we call him with great affection), by his authorizing BV Vana Maharaj to come to the United States for his first preaching tour. We had a week of morning and evening Harikatha that powerfully has attracted so many lost devotees that are either quickly or slowly realizing that Srila Prabhupada, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, at the time of his dissapearance pastimes, left us with the most precious gift of genuine Vaishnava sanga: Srila Gurudev and his associates. Thank you Srila Prabupada!
We are not allowed by the GBC to hold these programs in ISKCON facilities. And, being always somewhat short of funds, but, with Guru and Gauranga always helping, we found a free facility in Oakland called the Noodle Factory. I guess you could call it a hall where some young kids who are into "tribal music" kindly allowed us to use and even some attended the programs.
BV Van Maharaj, endowed with so many nice qualities, specially with genuine humility and correct sidhanta softened the hearts of so many devotees. There were devotees present from everywhere in the USA.
Bhagavan dasa attended one program and immediately Van Maharaj asked him to speak a few words which he did in glorification of Srila Prabhupada and the Vaishnavas of the Gaudiya Vedanta Samiti (A.C . Bhaktivedanta Swami was one of the founders of the Gaudiya Vedanta Samiti along with his sanyasa guru Nyitialila Pravista Param Pujyapada BV Pragnana Kesava Maharaj). At one point Bhagavan dasa asked Vana Maharaj: "Why is a nice sanyasi like you preching in a place like this when we have such a nice temple in Berkeley!?
But after all BV Vana Maharaj had the opportunity to take darshan of Lord Jagannatha and the temple management treated him with a nice welcome and offered him a garland. Nice progress!
