USA August 22, 2000 VNN6169 Comment on this story Alachua Temple To Install Radha And Krishna BY DRAVINAKSA DAS ALACHUA, USA, Aug 22 (VNN) — You are invited to a most auspicious event: the installation of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna at the New Raman Reti temple in Alachua, Florida, north America's largest devotee community. The three day festival begins Sunday, Sept 3rd with bajans all day, Sunday Feast Arotik at 4:15 pm, followed by a welcome address by Amberish prabhu, 5:30 pm Sankalpa Ceremony, 7:15 pm Prasadam, then all night bajans. Monday, Sept. 4th festivities begin at 10:00 am with Vastu Puja and Vastu Homa and the inauguration of the new Tulasi Conservatory. Bajans and special childrens activities continue through out the day. Noon Arotik is followed by a feast. 3:00 pm the Murari Band, 4:30 pm a Baratnatyam Dance by Anapayini, 5:00 pm Bajans by Havi, 6:30 pm Evening Arotik, 7:30 pm Installation Ceremony and 8:30 pm songs by Mangalananda and Uttamasloka The Final Installation Ceremony begins Tuesday, Sept. 5th at 7:45am followed by Abhiseka of Radha and Krishna and Their first Arotik at noon. Feast Prasadam will be served at 1:30 pm. Evening Bajans begin at 6:30 pm, Arotik at 7:30 pm with a special darshan of Srimati Radharani's Lotus Feet.
