BY PRTHA DEVI DASI EDITORIAL, Dec 15 (VNN) — One should not be fooled by the flowery words of the GHQ or those who think in such ways. When in public they speak so eloquently. In private, as with the posts which they thought no one would read, we see an entirely different mentality of such "superior" men. The foul language chosen to replace the proper words in the acronym IWM and other insults ("prostitute ministry, nigger, feminazis, atheists") cannot be merely excused away by labeling it *boys will be boys.* It reveals their true consciousness, as does the comment that women on the IWM have no souls. This is offensive at best. These are misogynists in denial, as one post states, "I really can't stand them," or that women are only to be played with as a toy. How can they claim they are not misognysists? Denial, denial, denial. The fact that they thought their posts would be private and this should make it ok that they said such horrible things is clearly wrong. It is in private when our true level of Krishna Consciousness is revealed. After all, those who want to claim male superiority and wish to have a less intelligent woman servant for a wife will treat her in whatever way they live and behave when in private. Thus, much abuse will go on at home while in public they will treat her differently. No one will know. As we to listen to the speaker of the highest Vedic knowledge, Srila Prabhupada, we must hear everything not just isolated parts that please the senses of some in male material bodies and surmising they are so great. One should not minimize Prabhupada's words thinking they are not as important as scripture, or become confused when they appear to be different from Vedic literature. Prabhupada himself has stated that he started a new thing. If it is not always Vedic no one should criticize since it is what Prabhupada wanted and started himself. When there appears to be a contradiction between the books and the instructions of jagat guru pure devotee Srila Prabhupada it is always the instructions that one must follow. The intent of the GHQ to resolve social issues is based on prejudicial attitudes toward women and anyone else of the so-called lesser caste. The real solution to social issues is not by taking so much shelter of the varnas and asramas, but by taking shelter of transcendental Krishna Consciousness. Besides, who put them in charge? They are self-appointed authorities, unqualified to take on such a task. They rebel against any authority who disagrees with them. Now they are trying to control the men of Chakra with their flowery language and in hopes of male bonding. Trying to side step the so-called lower woman of Chakra and appeal to the men, thus an attempt at the good old boys club. They want to squirm out of all the offenses they proudly stated in their posts as well as endeavor to get these men on their side. Although I strongly disagree with their nonsense philosophies I am not as concerned with what one does inside their own four walls if it doesn't hurt anyone. If they foolishly want to practice maya and call it Krishna, teach it to their children, what can be done? Maybe preaching if they will listen, but often nothing. It is when they create an entirely well laid out plan, a scheme, to dismantle the IWM and to change the whole movement in order to propagate their beliefs, which will only result in woman and child abuse, that it is time to speak out against the GHQ and similar. Personally I have no problem with the fact that I am prejudice against the GHQ and I view Chakra's refusal to give them a platform to speak from as good. They are prejudice against women, black men (they cleverly avoided answering that question), and anyone who would fit in the *sudra* category of the caste system. They certainly did not allow devotees on their private conference who believed differently than they did, yet they complain when the shoe is on the other foot. It is really their maya I am prejudice against. Of course, I am just a less intelligent women to these *superior* men, so they will not take me seriously. Where is the GBC when you need them? Do they not hear the cry of women or the silent cry of children for all that has been propagated and will continue to be propagated by the GHQ until they get involved and put a stop to the it? Is it because there are some big names on that conference that the GBC is doing nothing? That will only backfire anyway. Let us not remain quiet once again and allow such potential abuse as was done with Dallas or Vrndavana. This is their opportunity to do some good, undo some of the past and not make repeat mistakes. Bad things happen when good people remain silent. And please GHQ or supports, stop spamming my mailbox. Thank you.
