CALENDAR  Comment on this story Srila Narayana Maharaja Is Coming To Washington DC BY PARAMANANDA DASA CALENDAR, May 29 (VNN) — Dear Vaisnavas, Please accept my prostrated obaisences at your lotusfeet. All glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga. I just want to inform you all that Srila Narayana Maharaja is going to come to Washington DC area on the 29th of May, and we have rented some cabins in Prince Williams forest Park, 20 minutes drive south of Washington DC. It starts on the 30th of May to the 3th of June, and we are expecting devotees from all over the world. It is important for interested devotees to contact us as soon as possible so we can register everyone and as we have space for around 250 persons, those spaces and cabins will be given to those who register first, and if we get more than 250 devotees which we expect we will have to arrange for other fascilities as well, so we hope to hear from you all as soon as possible. The festival fee is 100$ per person for families it is 100$ for the first adult, and 80$ for each additional adult(husband or wife) and each child under 18 is 50$ . We will also try to find nearby hotel or hotels for those who want to stay there instead, otherwise the festival fees include, Prasadam and a place to stay and sleep. We advise everyone to bring a sleepingbag and and bedsheet. It is not luxury fascilities but nice and clean and comfortabel, in a beautifull forest settting, later on we will have more information and might even post some pictures as well. It will be great fascility for Sadhu sanga as devotees are coming from all over the 3 worlds to hear sweet Krsna Katha: Mac citta mad gata Prana bodhayantah parasparam kathayantas ca mam nityam tusyanti ca ramanti ca "Those whose minds are absorbed in Me and whose lives are wholeheartedly devoted to My service, derive great satisfaction and bliss from constantly enlightening one another about My tattva and performing kirtana of My nama, rupa, guna and lila." Srila Narayana Maharaja is traveling all over the world to preach the glories to Vraja bhakti, devotion to Sri Krsna in Vrindavana and to obtain his association is certainly desired by all kind of devotees who want to increase their devotion to Sri Sri Radha and Krsna. Srimad Bhagavatam 3.25.25 states: "In the association of pure devotees, discussion of the pastimes and activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is very pleasing and satisfying to the ear and heart. By cultivating such knowledge one gradually becomes advanced on the path of liberation, and thereafter he is freed and his attraction becomes fixed.Then real devotion and devotional service begin." Narottama dasa Thakura has sung: "Tadera carana sebi bhakta sane bas janame janame hoy ei abhilas" "This is my desire that birth after birth I may live with those devotees who serve the lotusfeet of the 6 Goswamis."
