Krsna Book Multimedia CD-Rom - Simply Wonderful!

USA (VNN) - "As you read from the Krsna book, He is fighting with many demons, and His activities are wonderful. Just like Kaliya-damana. A boy of five years old or six years old jumping in the Yamuna, and the great snake immediately coils Him, as if it will devour Krsna. And from the shore, all the members of Vrndavana, they become fainted: 'Now Krsna is gone.' But He was fighting with him and kicking on the head, and blood was oozing out from the mouth of the serpent. So these things are wonderful things--Bakasura, Aghasura, Sisupala, Kamsa. Krsna was boy of sixteen years old when He was combating a very powerful wrestler, Canura.

Everything... Everyone present, they thought it unlawful that 'Krsna is so young, and such a big stalwart and strong wrestler is engaged with Him for wrestling. This is not good. This is not good.' In protest, so many people left the arena. And Nanda Maharaja began to think, 'I should have locked up Krsna in Vrndavana instead of allowing Him to come here. Oh, so much injustice.' I have just spent the last couple of days enjoying the new KrishnaSoft KRSNA Book CD-ROM. This CD-ROM is an incredible experience. One can read the text on the screen while listening to Srila Prabhupada dictating the original book and looking at wonderful animated paintings of Krishna and His pastimes in Vrndavana all brought to life and synchronized with the text so wonderfully. It's really an experience that engages the senses in Krishna, hearing Srila Prabhupada narrating the pastimes of Krishna, reading the text, seeing the beautiful pictures of Krishna, it's even better than reading the book!

"If you actually want to become free from the contamination of this material world, then you should always be engaged in chanting, sankirtanam. Not only the holy name, but reading the Krsna book, The Nectar of Devotion, Teachings of Lord Caitanya. If you feel tired chanting, you read these books. Sometimes there is psychology, transfer. You are reading some book, you want to read another book. So we have got so many books. If you feel tired this book, then transfer your attention to another book, or another book, or chant. Find out. Simply, not to waste a single moment. Kirtaniyah sada harih. Caitanya Mahaprabhu says sada. Sada means always. So we have got materials for engaging ourself always in Krsna consciousness. The KrishnaSoft CD-ROM contains the entire Krsna Book, more than 200 full-color, high resolution images displayed animated and synchronized with the text and more than 51 hours of audio, including Srila Prabhupada dictating most of the Krsna Book and many bhajans on Krishna Lila as well. It also doesn't require a very big, powerful computer to run. In every way the quality of this CD-ROM is amazing. You would think if one has put 51 hours of audio and all the rest on one CD the quality would suffer... But no, the audio sounds even better that the tapes and the paintings look even better than the ones in the printed books... And they move as well... It's a wonderful transcendental product.

Radha-vallabha: "When they arrest us we read to them out of Krsna Book, the pastimes, and they listen the whole time. And sometimes for an hour and a half, two hours, they'll listen to us while we preach. Then they let us go. (break) Sometimes we are about to make an announcement to collect donations and the police officer will be standing there like this, like he doesn't want us to do it. There is also a Krishna Book Video Game and 'Vedic Universe Tour' provided free of charge on the same CD. It looks very interesting, however, I have not had the time to work it out yet.

Anyhow I strongly recommend it and I am very much enjoying it myself.
