As devotees worldwide participatein the worship of the most exalted Acharya Srila A.C. Bhakti VedantaSwami Maharaj Prabhupad, I thought it would be fitting to sharethis beautiful pranati mantram written by my gurudevaSrila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj to glorify his siksa-guruSrila Prabhupada, with whom he associated since the late 1940's:

namah om visnupadaya krishna-presthayabhutale

swami sri bhaktivedanta prabhupadayate namah

gurvajnam sirasi-dhritva saktyavesasva-rupine

hare-krishneti mantrena pascatya-pracya-tarine

visvacarya prabaryaya divya karunyamurtaye

sri bhagavata-madhurya-gita-jnanapradayine

gaura-sri-rupa-siddhanta-saraswatinisevine

radha-krishna-padambhoja-bhringayagurave namah


"I offer my humble obeisancesunto His Divine Grace A.C. Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupada, whois Krishna's beloved associate and who came down to this planefrom Goloka. Taking the order of his guru on his head, he is theSaktyavesa (empowered) avatar of Nityananda Prabhupersonified. He distributed the Hare Krishna mantra all over theEastern and Western world, delivering and uplifting all fallensouls. He is the best of millions of jagat-gurus, becausehe is the personification of divine mercy. He has distributedthe sweet nectar of Srimad-Bhagavatam and the transcendental knowledgeof Bhagavad-gita all over the world.
