King of Orissa and Prime Minister to honour Puri Maharaj

Government authorities, including the king of Orissa and the Prime Ministerof India, along with eminent personalities will be present to pay respectsto Srila Bhakti Promod Puri Maharaj, on the occasion of the celebration ofthe Vyasa Puja of this senior most vaisnava, (1898-1998), on September 24.

The invitation for the function, to be held in Jagannath Puri, suggeststhat one should come to sat-guru with sacrificial implements in the formof:

- submission
- search for truth
- desire to serve

This rare vaisnava, a living example of love and humility is decoratedprofusely with vaisnava qualities, distinct of devotees situated in theplatform of pure love of Godhead.
