PAMHO AGTSP!

I want to express my total delight in the fact that there is now dialogue amongst the disciples of Srila Prabhupada. This has been a long time in coming. I find it both a tender and wry experience that the first utterances of our CYBER-ISTAGOSTHI come out with the guttural unfamiliar crustiness that one would expect as the first spoken words in many decades of a person long trapped in a coma or autism.

Please accept my sincere congratulations and (in most cases) elderly brotherly praise for this dramatic breakthrough!

Srila Prabhupada said on many occasions that the first task of the handwriting master is to see the whole class making marks on the paper. That these marks become clearly defined cursive script comes along later. As a paraphrase, it seems that we are all now talking, and opening web site after web site to do so. Apparently, it takes high-technology before a Vaishnava disciple born in the Western World can be persuaded to reveal his mind to other Vaishnavas! The quality and Transcendental accuracy of our communications will come along later.

Now, instead of the truly disgusting mental tyranny reeking with the stench of denial and abuse of power and trust that has typified the upper management of what started out to be a movement representing The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Sri Radha Krishna as well as the Pure Unalloyed Vaishnava Sampradaya, we have the CURE OF THE AGES: Istagosthi!

Cyberspace, the great leveler of All Jivas, has presented an arena where Overfed and Pompous Renunciates can open their hearts and minds with Lowly Hardworking Householders. Even temple devotees can take part! (As long as they use assumed names and someone else's e-mail.)

I hope that the trend continues; That more and more websites are created, and that the future contest will not be based on power and economic suppression but on Intellectual Honesty, Style, Elegance, Truthfulness, as well as Gifting One Another with Transcendental Blessings of Insight and Knowledge.

LET THE CACAPHONY BEGIN! And out of such din, LET US LEARN TO CELEBRATE THE GLORY OF SEVA OF OUR GLORIOUS TRANSCENDENTAL SPIRITUAL MASTER, SRILA PRABHUPADA!

If someone years ago, defamed Srila Prabhupada as "old and senile" let us joyfully reach out to this repentant person and share together in brilliant hindsight that such a perception was very, very wrong. Only a total idiot could actually consider Srila Prabhupada to have been senile at any point in His stay amongst us. WE CAN NO LONGER LIVE OR MAKE SPIRITUAL ADVANCEMENT PERSONALLY OR COLLECTIVELY WITH THE STENCH OF SUCH AN OFFENSE IN OUR MIDST. Let us begin the process of forgiveness of such offense with Kirtan and Prayer, but let us first acknowledge that the offense took place, and let the offender admit his mistake and correct his view and with complete humility and prostrated dandavats, accept the FORGIVENESS OF SRILA PRABHUPADA. But first, we must rectify ALL THINGS FALSE and avoid PARTY MENTALITY. Some of the most outstanding minds in Iskcon are in the Ritvik "camp". Isn't it time for us to all put our minds together with no material motive involved and try to carefully sort out what SRILA PRABHUPADA REALLY DID WANT? It is all there in His Vani. Why not "Crack a Book and Have a Look"? Let's solve this thing together!

IN SUCH A MOOD THIS KRISHNA CONSCIOUSNESS MOVEMENT CAN ACTUALLY BECOME A TRULY GLORIOUS SUCCESS!
