Dear Balarama Prabhu,

I haven't gotten this message so far, have you?

I did, however get the following message, which says that
"<balarama.lok@com.bbt.se> does not want any messages from you" and that "<pratyatosa.acbsp@com.bbt.se> does not want any messages from you". Isn't this interesting! According to this, I don't want any messages from myself!

According to a private email message that I received, someone named "Roberto Kampagnoli" is responsible for these unvaisnava, immoral, unjust, and also possibly criminal activities. Who is this "Roberto Kampagnoli"?

Pratyatosa Dasa

I'm talking about private email. For example, you have not
authorized anyone to block your incoming mail, and I have not
authorized anyone to block my outgoing mail. So, I'll add your
@com.bbt.se email address, as well as my own, to the list of
receivers of this message. Let's see whether or not either of us
gets this as a personal message.

But Bhuta-bhavana Prabhu, there are over 1700 devotees with
@com.bbt.se email addresses (see
http://www.com.org/stl/hkl/ComUsers.txt). Most of them have no other
email address. If I send a message to any of them (even from my
Hotmail or Rocketmail accounts), it gets blocked.

No warning, no reason or no "length of sentence" has ever been
given. Therefore, my contention is that this blocking of private
email messages without permission from either the sender, or the
receiver, is unvaisnava, immoral, unjust and possibly even illegal.

You've definitely got a point here, Bhuta-bhavana Prabhu. I could
open up a new Hotmail, Rocketmail or Mailexcite account any time
that I really wanted a new email address, in order to send a message
to any of the @com.bbt.se addresses.

I could even use something like james_bond@cia.gov by using
Netscape's built in mail server, and then, if I wanted a reply, give
my real email address in the body of the message.

This is what makes it even more ridiculous! They're not stopping me
from sending any email messages! They are simply risking doing
something immoral and illegal in the name of Prabhupada's movement,
just to be mildly annoying, to make themselves look bad and to waste
my time, as well as their own!

Don't they have anything better to do???

Pratyatosa Dasa

COM is not a public e-mail service. If someone wants to receive mail
without having some messages blocked, he should approach and use a
public e-mail provider. That is not the function or obligation of
COM.
