Straight Edge Benefit Concert

USA (VNN) - The Straight Edge Benefit Concert is once again back in action, this time in Miami, Florida. "The kids are really good" says Kesava Swami, "they bring a lot of kids from everywhere and are a great asset to the temple". They mostly come to the Sunday Feast and some of them chant sixteen rounds a day, so they are a big potential for the bhakta program.

This is the first concert in ISKCON Miami but not the last. The show promises to be a good one since a well known band "Set Apart" will perform. At least 200 to 300 kids are expected with some coming from as far as Key West, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

The proceeds from the show will go for the construction of the ISKCON Miami temple altar, which is supposed to be completed by Janmasthami '98.
