Visnupriya Gauranga Trilogy
BY GORACANDA DAS
PUBLICATION, Sep 11 (VNN) Gadadhara Prana dasa is an ekanta bhakta of Sri Sri Gadai and Gauranga who has lived on the banks of the Ganges in the holy land of Sri Mayapura for more than 25 years . Possessed by a strong urge to delve into the most esoteric aspects of the bhakti religion started by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, he has come to know its secrets in a way that few, if any, Westerners ever have .
In his new book '' The Vishnupriya Gauranga Trilogy '' Gadadhara Prana give us a detailed account of Srimati Vinupriya's madhura lila with Sriman Gaurasundar collected from a host of Gaudiya Mahajanas and ekanta Gaura Visnupriya bhaktas .
This book is divided into three sections . Part One ( now available; 173 pages ; 6 color plates ) and Part Two deal with Visnupriya's dukha, or viraha sadness in separation from Gauranga . Part Three will narrate Visnupriya's sukha, her eternal happiness with Gauranga in Goloka Navadvipa dham .
Part One begins with the ill-omen that Visnupriya received on her wedding day with Gaurasundara, and it concludes where Nimai leaves his Nadiya bhaktas at Santipura after taking sannyasa .
Part two takes up from where Part One leaves off, and culminates after narrating all of the events leading up to Srimati Visnupriya's disappearance lila .
In Part Three, we shall enter Sri Gauranga's Navadvipa lila which lies beyond Vaikuntha in Goloka . This dhama is the original basis from which Sriman Gaurasundara's bhauma ( earthly ) Navadvipa lila manifests . In Goloka, we find Gauranga's adi-svarupa, Sri Gaura-Govinda . This exquisite form, like Sri Krsna's, is Vamsidhari, Sikhipinca vibhusita and Rasikendra mauli ( the topmost Lord of rasika mellows who sports a flute and whose crown is crested by peackok feathers ) . Visnupriya and Laksmipriya both eternally reside with Gauranga there . They are served by countless sakhis who are known as the Nadiya nagaris . These lila's unfold in asta-kala sequences .
