Pure Bhakti Media Group is pleased to announce the creation of a new website - http://gbcsiksa.org - where anyone can hear (via flash streaming technology) a series of talks in 1990 on Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura's life's masterwork JAIVA DHARMA, between representatives of ISKCON's GBC & gurus such as Sripad Tamal Krishna Gosvami, Sripad Giriraj Maharaja, Sripad Satsvarupa Gosvami, Sripad Sivarama Swami, Sripad Dhanurdhara Swami, Sriman Bhurijana Prabhu, his wife Srimati Jagattarini Devi and others; and, His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja. Currently there are available 11 streams of over 8 hours 17 minutes of captivating questions and answers, along with many rich moments of heartwarming, loving repartee. Now all devotees can decide for themselves what was really going on when these devotees spent those many, long years taking siksha at the lotus feet of an elderly, senior Vaishnava (maryada vyatikrama - see Srila Prabhupada's excellent purports in Srimad Bhagavatam 3.4.26 and Sri Caitanya-caritamrita, Madhya-lila, Chapter 22, Text 71). It is interesting to note that when asked by the BBT Trustees to translate a version of Jaiva Dharma for ISKCON members, their head translator, Sriman Dravida Prabhu declined, saying that he couldn't as Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura's presentation of jiva tattva differs from official GBC resolutions on the topic. Which is interesting considering the following quote from the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON himself: In the future you will get Jaiva Dharma in English." His Divine Grace Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. It is also interesting that Sripad Tamal Krishna Gosvami himself wrote a letter just two months before his departure from this plane to Srila BV Narayana Gosvami Maharaja expressing his grief at being separated from him (quoting priyah so 'yam.... from Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Antya-lila, Chapter One, Text 79) and how those years taking siksha were the happiest of my life. We think Sripad Tamal Krishna Gosvami's devoted disciples and admirers will find much solace and enlightenment to hear directly in these conversations why.
