News For The Ladies

BY MAHAVEGAVATI DASI

PUBLICATION, Mar 10 (VNN) — News for the Ladies: www.vaisnavi.com

Dear VNN Readers,

For the pleasure of the Vaisnavas I am submitting this:

Hare Krsna. Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Jayatah. Please accept my fallen obeisances. May we all reside under the shelter of the Lotus Feet of Sri Sri Radha-Krsna and Their associates.

www.vaisnavi.com is a website that was specifically created to provide topics relevant for Vaisnavis. Of course it is open to all devotees irregardless of gender - after all, the first ABCs are that we are not these bodies - and there are many male readers and contributors to the site.

In case you may not be aware of this site, it is now being brought to your attention.

The following information can be found in this website which was set up by Keshavapriya dasi approximately one year ago.

The site includes a collection of articles related to women issues such as motherhood, the role of women as Vaisnavis, great Vaisnavis of today and previous times, the saktis of Krsna in their form as goddesses within the material realm, the intelligence of women, chastity, the grihasta ashram, discussions concerning divorce, etc.

Included on this website is a children's corner with different Vedic and moral stories. Recipes for Krsna??s pleasure can also be found here as well as a list of names for possible consideration for new Vaisnavas coming into the world.

Another section included is the Soul Doctor. Anyone who is interested can write in with all sorts of questions and concerns, be it philosophical, personal, or spiritual. (Please give the Soul Doctor a little time to answer. S/he does not always have access to a computer, but all questions do get answered.) There is a growing MP3 collection with lady bhajans, and an explanation and list of addresses of women's (Vishnu Priya) ashrams.

So you are invited to visit this website at www.vaisnavi.com (Keshavapriya devi dasi is the webmaster. Or is that webmistress?)

I remain your servant,

Mahavegavati Dasi
Hare Krsna
