GBC Calls For Cooperation With Investigators

USA (VNN) - After the initial outcry of many Vaishnavas in shock over the prospect of the Srila Prabhupada poisoning controversy the support for the investigation is growing in the Vaishnava community.

Apparently the GBC has issued a statement that was sent to devotees in support of the investigation asking all ISKCON devotees to cooperate and not interfere with the devotees doing the investigation.

VNN has received word of the first preliminary results of the forensic audio test but has agreed to wait for the final results of the analysis before publishing it's findings.

Bir Krishna Swami shares his findings: "I have very very sophisticated sound processing equipment. The clip in question does not mention poison but the whisper says: 'That's not part of the treatment' If you listen carefully you will see that it is what is said." and "If you listen to the sound file posted on the VNN page with very sensitive headphones you will hear that this is actually what is said."

VADA has announced a Sadhu Sanga chat room session regarding the poison investigation on Sunday, November 16th, at 10:00 a.m. PST. Also there is ongoing discussion on Dharma Mela, a threaded discussion board on Vada.

One devotee writes: "If Srila Prabhupada is really poisoned. This fact should be also indicated in his chart. Did anyone find any clue's that anyone would poison him?" Another replies: "This may be true because Srila Prabhupada had left this word in Ketu Mahadasa. Ketu - poison. And Ketu is in the 8th - the house of death." If there are any vedic astrology experts out there please contact VNN to verify this.

Surprisingly on COM only 4 postings could be found in the open forums regarding the investigation. You would expect to find a little more activity from a society with "several thousand" members on an explosive issue like that, or is it that they have been trained that well not to say anything or ask any questions?
