HUNGARY, Aug 22 (VNN) Following the call, around 200 Vaisnavas from different missions and countries united at the Hungarian farm 'Nandagram' to give a heartfelt welcome to Srimati Radharani and Sri Krsna. For the occasion of honouring the advent of their Lordships a small Hindu-style temple had been constructed by the Vaisnavas over the last year.
The five-day festival under the flag of the Visva Vaisnava Raja Sabha with its culmination in the installation of Sri Sri Radha Gopi Vallabhava was filled with nearly 24 hours of kirtans, bhajans and krsna katha. Although the setting was simple with a tent camp near the temple, the lofty objective prevailed of performing a sankirtana yajna in order to overcome the influence of Kali-yuga.

Large kirtans with up to 5 Mrdangas were held. Special prayers were dedicated to the recovery of Pujyapad Srila B.P. Puri Goswami.

Drama performances, pantomimes, bhajans in traditional styles of the respective countries were performed in the evenings.

Children-preaching seminars, as well as a variety of other seminars were held by the Vaisnavis.

Some of the topics discussed included:

 - Introducing the different yatras and their projects,

 - Vedic Culture Course - a comprehensive Study course on Vedic Culture,

 - Yoga as a means for preaching and approaching people,

 - Vaisnava ecology programs

 - Deity worship,

 - "If I were to utter my last words",

 - Many Gurus, one truth,

 - Auspiciousness in Inauspiciousness,

 - Harmony school of conscious art, how to dedicate your art to infinite service,

 - Music for Krsna.

At the occasion of the solar eclipse, a 3-hour kirtan was performed in a nearby lake, with devotees neck-deep in the water, commemorating the meeting of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna at Kuruksetra at the occasion of the solar eclipse around 5000 years ago.

The time spent together was a powerhouse of inspiration which left everyone with the deep impression and conviction of being part of a big loving Vaisnava family.

Sadhu Sanga - the birthplace of bhakti.

Sri Yuga dharma nama sankirtana ki jaya! Sri Visva Vaisnava Raja sabha ki jaya!

 golokera prema dhana harinama sankirtana!

 bhidyate hrdaya-granthis
 chidyante sarva-samsayah
 ksiyante casya karmani

"Our inner aspiration for rasa, ecstasy, is buried within our hearts which are tied down and sealed. But hearing and chanting the glories of Krsna breaks the seal on the heart and allows it to awaken and open to receive Krsna, the reservoir of pleasure, ecstasy Himself."
