Prayers For Devotees In Serbia

Please, let us all pray that Lord Nrsimhadeva protects his devotees.

Dear Godbrothers and Godsisters, Please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Some two hours ago, we have bomb attack on Serbia. Here in Novi Sad was pretty serious. About 6 big bombs around the town. The windows in the buildings were cracking. The people started to panic and to escape from town and from their houses. Now is quiet, but creepy silence. For how long we don't know.

Our 'president' Miloshevic is saying, "We will fight against the NATO, Americans, or any other aggressor. And Russia and China are on our side." On TV there are old partisans movies about fighting from the Nazi-aggressor from the world war two - for lifting up the national moral.

Situation is extremely serious.

So, I would like, in the name of other devotees too, to ask you kindly to say one little prayer for us. Just to know that we aren't alone.

Here in Mayapur we're fortunate to have opportunity participating on 50th Golden Jubile (Vyasa Puja) of HH Jayapataka Maharaja. There are about 2000 devotees present and it is the right moment to let know the devotees about the situation.

When I received the news, next morning on 3.28.99, Bhakti Purusottama Maharaja immediately announced after the Mangala Aratika in Mayapur requesting all devotes to pray to Lord Nrsimhadeva for devotees protection in Serbia. Today morning I was praying very sincerely to Sri Sri Radha Madhava and Lord Nrsimhadeva thinking that ,can happen any time to any of us.

Therefore a devotee should always be in pro-active mood and aware of the reality of these material world.

On behalf of Mayapur devotees I am humbly requesting all of you to pray sincerely for protection of devotees in Serbia. Probably this is all we can do from our distant places.
